First Look – NFL Tool

Over the last few months I’ve been doing a lot of statistical research on the NFL and week to week scoring. Next Tuesday (September 2nd) the Spreadsheet Sports NFL Projection Tool will be available to purchase, and I think you’ll be hard pressed to find a better resource to help you build your weekly fantasy lineups. One question that I was interested in answering related to NFL performance and fantasy football was: What running backs have the highest % of their carries go for x number of yards? I’ve seen stats thrown around on Twitter like this one from Daniel Jeremiah at NFL Network Frank Gore leads the NFL in explosive runs. Other Positions: QB, RB, WR With the Fantasy Football Consistency Rankings visualization you’re able to see how a particular player performs on a week to week basis and compare multiple players, but it doesn’t give you a good feel for how the amount of risk and reward a player offer. Other Positions: QB, RB, WR The Fantasy Football Weekly Aggregate Rankings give you a good picture of how consistently a player ranks in the Top 10 or the Top 25 from week to week. You’ll be able to identify the guys that are feast or famine – they’re either Top 5 or they’re out of the Top 25 completely. You’ll also be able to see what players are consistently in the Top 25 so even though they might not put up the biggest numbers each week they’re not going to hurt you. Learn About Tableau

Use the Consistency Rankings to compare multiple wide receivers on week to week performances. To select more than one player, click on the first player you’d like to compare and then hold “Control” while clicking on any other player you’d like to add to the comparison.
