Week 8 NFL Cash and GPP Plays

By: Keith Hall on November 1, 2015

Good Morning.  Sorry for the delay and not getting the plays out yesterday.  I had a scare that took me away from my computer for a good portion of the day and night.  We all have lineups to build so this is going to be short, sweet, and to the point. QB: Cash:  Philip Rivers, Andy Dalton, Ben Roethlisberger GPP: Cam Newton, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Jay Cutler, Eli Manning, Drew Brees RB: Cash: Devonta Freeman, Le’Veon Bell, Adrain Peterson, Toddy Gurley, CJ2K, Matt Forte, and Marshawn Lynch GPP: Chris Ivory, Doug Martin, Justin Forsett, Jonathan Stewart, Darren McFadden, Jeremy Hill, Ronnie… Read More »

Week 7 Recap

By: Keith Hall on October 28, 2015

Finally!  A week where we can actually feel good about what we accomplished.  I hope all of you had just as good of a week as myself.  I won around 90% of my H2H games and had some pretty good cashes in GPP’s.  If Landry Jones hits Antonio Brown for a TD, I would be going to sunny San Diego to battle it out for a shot at the WFFC Title.  Oh well, I’ll take my shot again in a week or two, but for now, it’s all about continuing to build up that bankroll! It’s time to turn the… Read More »

Week 7 NFL Plays

By: Keith Hall on October 24, 2015

Good Morning! Week 7 is here! Finally! Week 6 didn’t turn out so good.  The reasons are known, and understandable.  I’m not making excuses, just have to do a better job.  This is going to be a weekend where I’m going to go lighter in 50/50 and double up’s due to a lot of the cash game lineups I’ve seen through the industry being very very similar.  I’m talking so close that there is only a difference of one or two players in some cases.  So I will stick to H2H and GPP’s. My tip this week is to urge… Read More »

Week 6 NFL Recap

By: Keith Hall on October 21, 2015

I love October.  Honestly, besides opening day of MLB, I think October has the potential to be the best month of the year.  College football is in full swing and the NFL is just starting to get really interesting.  The NHL has already begun, next Wednesday so to will the NBA, and of course, we can’t forget about the MLB Playoffs.  Ah yes, it’s a great time to be a sports fan.  Unless of course, you play DFS.  No, I’m not talking about all of the craziness going on in our industry that we love, I’m talking about all of… Read More »

Week 6 NFL Plays

By: Keith Hall on October 17, 2015

Good Afternoon everyone! I hope your as excited as I am to put this weeks news behind us for a little bit and watch some football!  I understand that life happens, and things aren’t always sunshine and rainbows, but I really can’t wait until tomorrow when the games start!  There are actually a lot of great plays this week and most of them start after 4 pm E.T. so make sure you have conducted rosters correctly to where you’re not finished before the Sunday or Monday night games. QUARTERBACK:  We’ve all heard the narrative this week about the Patriots and… Read More »

Week 5 NFL Recap

By: Keith Hall on October 14, 2015

Week 5 started out really slow.  I’m talking snails pace.  I was watching the early games upcoming on halftime and I think the only team that had over 14 points was Tampa Bay.  I couldn’t actually understand what I was watching.  Then, at what seemed to be the flip of a light switch, FANTASY POINTS!!!  We’re talking quick!  There are some key things I want to touch on that will pay extreme dividends moving forward.  I had some great calls this week from my Saturday picks, and missed on a some as well.  I’m not afraid to admit that I’m… Read More »

Week 5 NFL Plays

By: Keith Hall on October 10, 2015

Here we go! Week 5 is upon us and it’s time to have a great weekend!  I would like to touch on two things before we get into this weeks cash game players.  First, if you are down on the season don’t freak out yet.  The first quarter is big on learning a lot of what’s going on and the biggest thing to understand is that there is still a lot of football to be played.  Second, I believe roster construction is going to play an even bigger roll this week than normal.  With so many value plays opening up… Read More »

What we learned from Week 4

By: Keith Hall on October 5, 2015

Week 4 was a very interesting time for DFS.  The craziest thing was that the Millionaire Maker over on DraftKings was determined not because of a great play made by the Seattle defense, but by suprisingly enough, NFL referee’s not knowing what the rule was.  Yes, when K.J. Wright batted the fumble by Calvin Johnson out of the back of the end zone at the end of the game, the play was dead, and Detroit should have been rewarded the ball at the spot of the fumble.  Due to the ruling on the field, the Seattle defense was credited with… Read More »

Week 4 NFL Picks

By: Keith Hall on October 3, 2015

Well, it’s time to turn our attention to what should be another great NFL Sunday!  It shouldn’t be as crazy as last week, but definitely not as bad as it was in Week 2.  As always, we do have some injury news and notes to keep an eye on for Sunday morning, but most of the guys I’m focusing on for cash games have their roles already determined. Injury Notes: Watch out for Drew Brees.  There is talk he will go, but with a QB and a shoulder, I always want to make sure.  He is off limits for cash,… Read More »

Week 3 NFL Recap and Learnings

By: Keith Hall on September 29, 2015

Wow!  What a weekend!  I don’t think I have seen a higher scoring NFL weekend since I have been playing DFS.  To give you an idea of the kind of weekend it was, our fearless leader, Bryan, posted a 235 in our season long league.  This isn’t a league with some crazy scoring either.  It’s a full point PPR, one QB league that has a flex.  He did this by the way, while setting his lineup, in Italy, on his anniversary trip. As far as DFS is concerned, I saw teams putting up crazy numbers in both cash games and… Read More »
